Founder

Shepherd's Tent founder Anthony Drakeford is referred to as having sincere concern for everyone he encounters. This is heavily  reflected in Anthony's choice of profession as an EMT. In addition to a dual bachelors in Biology and Chemistry, Anthony also holds a Masters degree in Biomedical Sciences. When asked to describe himself, the founder of Shepherd's Tent had this to say.

"My driving force is developing positive connections. I continually seek opportunities for engagement that result in meaningful impact. Even if only a simple hello or how are you, please always anticipate an effort from me to inspire a pleasant interaction. I strongly believe creating a supportive environment nurtures confidence and trust, which are instrumental to achieving our goals of enabling wellness and stability at Shepherd's Tent."

When Anthony is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife, coaching his 11-year-old son's sport activities, and making up silly stories and games to entertain his 6-year-old niece, whom he and his wife have recently become foster parents to. Anthony's hobbies are drawing/animation, coding, staying fit, building, and learning new things.
